Akira is close to my heart and it breaks my heart to think how much you are suffering over losing her. I held her as a baby and saw how she grew into a beautiful little girl. I have Akira's brother, my little "Luke Keane". So precious! I am so sorry for the loss of your precious baby. I know how bad you must be hurting. Hugs,
Debbie

Re: Akira a/k/a Tinky- R.I.P 3/19/01 - 1/15/07

Thank you Debbie - Our friendship came about because of our wonderful kitties and I am so happy for that. It has been a month now since we lost Akira and it still hurts as much today as it did the day she left us. One good thing is... Abbie has snapped out of her "separation anxiety". I was so afraid of losing her also. She got so thin and was pathetically mourning. For anyone interested - I bought the comfort zone diffuser of Feliway and it helped within days. I believe it was the diffuser and maybe a combination of time however, within 2 days of having the plug in sitting by the chair where Abbie laid 24/7 she was up and moving about. She is now back to playing and eating normally.
I am still looking for a "very special" urn for Tinky... have not found exactly what we want yet. She was very special and deserves the best.
Miss You Tink!

Thanks again Debbie and give you boys a big hug from me.
