hi i did have a cat flap put in when my 2 older cats used to go out in the garden i found it useful so i didnt have to have the door open all the time , but it came to an end when my collie dog stuck his head through it thinking he could get back in !!! he usely chased them up the garden but forgot when to stop and found it stuck round his head. anyway they are a good idea if you like to let them out but with my new kittys id rather they went out with me and come back in with me then i know where they are.
