Re: SeeSaw Sunday

Hi Kazz, Moli and Shelley! I've been doing paperwork today. It is very chilly and I had to put an extra fleece on (T-shirt, woolly jumper and fleece) and have put the heating on too. Are we ever going to get a Summer this year? I feel so sorry for my plants in the greenhouse. I have some little plug plants of Lavendula "Hidcote" - very hardy, but they've not grown on at all and seem to be the same size as when I bought them.

Anyway, it's an ill wind as they say - filing is all done. Must start getting my papers together for the dreaded Income Tax now. YUK.

Enjoy your Sunday everyone.

Re: SeeSaw Sunday

It's cold here too! Sun, but only 9 C (48F), and a wind chill of 7C ,,,wind still very gusty! On May 9th! The heat cut back on last night; I wore my heavy jacket and wool hat on the market trip. Leia met me at the door when I got home and demanded the porch... she stepped out, looked shocked SHOCKED! at the cold and flew in very rapidly for the warmth of the radiator cover. Where she is now.

Kazz, keep doing "nothing" until you're fit! Tax time, Angie? Commiserations, I hate that job!

Stay warm, stay safe, have a nice day!

Re: SeeSaw Sunday

Afternoon all, but been up to much, changed the ribbons on our button holes for the wedding (artificial flowers) as I didn't like the colour. Back is playing up a bit so don't fancy doing much.

Here is a picture of them

Roast chicken is in the oven and smells wonderful!! OT is watching the F1 and cats are cuddled up to the radiator lol

Have a good evening everybody!

Re: SeeSaw Sunday

Dull, chilly day Doing nothing apart from the newspapers and a bit of tidying up.

Found a tick inside Morgan's ear when I was grooming him earlier, it explains why he was scratching his ear yesterday. Ugh! how I hate those horrible things what's the point of ticks in the grand order of things? Good job the cats have never picked one up! but then, they don't go into the woods and rampage around in the brambles and bracken

Hi all - warm here again, been making the most of it in the garden. Came in for a quick coffee and catsey then going to get another hour and plant out some beech hedging.

Love those buttonholes.

Re: SeeSaw Sunday

Hi all, Darcy came home on Thursday-all ok! She's so full of beans and it's a full time job trying to keep her still
Dry, windy and quite cold here, I've been under a blanket on the sofa all afternoon as I really don't want to put the heating on.
Not much else to report, Darcy is finally asleep, next to Imogen on 'their' sofa, I'm trying to knit a baby cardigan for knitting club on Tuesday and OH is cooking something for dinner. No idea what it's going to be but a lot of noise coming from the kitchen
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday everyone.
Lx
