It's really interesting that you thought the acupuncture was successful, but of course as CM said, it will never put the hip or knees back in place, but could help the nerves. It may be useful to have the acupuncturist vet's views especially as she hasn't seen Hetty since she started walking again.

Thank you I am still not sure what to do as when i look at hetty i don,t think that i could put her through the ordeal of surgery/recovery but i am very worried about her getting arthritis I do respect what Emma (acupuncturist) has to say so i think i will get her to visit hetty again and take advice from her she loves Hetty so i know she will have her best interests at heart thanks for all your help

Moonstone, re arthritis, have you discussed the possible use of glucosamine for her with your vet?
