It's what tabbies do best? Mind, my best mate has a big tortie, and she's sent me several photos with the cat in plain sight, but you have to be told where to find her because she's invisible.

Hreow, he gets handsomer in every series of pics!! I spotted him at once in the underbrush, but like you, had experience with cats camoflaguing (sp?) themselves in shrubbery...they are VERY good at it...
