monty

we rescued monty from my daughter, she had 3 kiddys and a young cat,and the kids wouldnt leave the poor little fella alone.so he came home with us,he settled in quickly, made friend with dark star and barnaby, and out dog. he was a real mummys boy was always on my lap kissing me and fluffing me.he was a lovely blond tabby (not ginger but blond) we moved to the middle of the country miles of countryside for him to roam around in,a real kitty heaven or so i thought, one night barnaby came tearing in jumped up at me and bit me and ran off,he had never done that before?? anyway settled down for the night, the cats came in and out at night usuing a cat flap, well next morning no monty he used to sit on my work top and wait for his food,so i went looking for him a sinking feeling in my heart.charlie found him on the side of the road dead,he had been hit by a car, some one had moved him off the road.i was devastated, cryed for weeks,i miss my little fella even now.he died on the 12 of feb 2001.ive got a lovely photo of him that was taken just before he died.still miss you monty love mum xxx
