I'm soooooooooo tired!!!

Can someone please hit me over the head with a hammer so that I can try and get some sleep please . I've got the lurgy too, and crawled under my duvet at 8pm to try and go to sleep, but to no avail. I can't stop yawning, I'm exhausted, but my brain wont switch off. I can't take a warm drink or I'll be up to the loo all night, no books to read, nothing on telly, so I came back on here, but I really want to go to sleep, but I CAN'T!!

Re: I'm soooooooooo tired!!!

Absolutely shattered Moli. I didn't get to sleep until about 2 am this morning and then slept fitfully all night. Haven't had a chance to sit down all day, until now. I got some mild sedative type tablet from the doctors months ago to use when my sleep pattern becomes badly disturbed, not sleeping tablets and not addictive either. I'm not keen on using them as my head is a bit fuzzy in the mornings, but I've taken one tonight as I desperately need sleep!!

Re: I'm soooooooooo tired!!!

Alex, You know how you were saying that your bed is too hard and the sofa is better. Have you seen the mattress toppers advertised. There between 70 and £90. I got one months ago and never looked back. I got the 2inch one (shut up ladies) it moldes into your body and supports it. I know it wont switch your mind off but it may help you relax. Mags got one too.
