House Plants

To bring a bit of brightness to the winter months, I thought we could post pics of our favourite house plants, they can be foliage or flowering plants.

This is my Kaffir Lily, it is 18" tall and flowers every year....

Re: House Plants

I dont have any plants. i kill them all!

No, honestly, every plant i ever had has died.

I had a lovely peace lily, one of my fav plants, until we got our cats and they pee'd on it and it died. i ahve tried three times to grow aloe vera. They all died. Had a peanut plant once it died too.

Ones I would love to ahve though area a bonsai tre ( thought i darent cos there hard to grow) a venus fly trap, ello vera duckworth ( aloe vera) and more epace lilies

Re: House Plants

This is the only house plant I have - had it about 8 years and it's close to 5ft high. I have no idea what it's called. Houseplants don't tend to thrive in my house. Plus I have to admit to not being over keen on potted plants indoors - I prefer cut flowers - maybe coz they don't need any looking after!!

Re: House Plants

Yola I think that may be a Drycena, or some such name as that. I've got one that looks very similar. Think it's a nice tough thing. I've got a nice fern in the bathroom, which seems to enjoy life there. I'll maybe edit in a pic later.

Here you go
