Re: Carrying on..

So glad to hear there's been an improvement. Chin tickles to KY, obviously after she's finished her ablutions!

Re: Carrying on..

Thanks guys. The only part I'm nervous about for time being is bringing her to the vet three more times this week for fluid therapy, I hope she doesn't get too stressed out.

Re: Carrying on..

Good luck little KY - please don't stress out too much over going to the big scary vets. *sends plenty of tummy and ear rubs to comfort her*

Well, that's a good thing with the pill pockets. How in the world did you manage to give her the liquid? The one time I tried it with Leia she spewed it back all over me and then wouldn't let me catch her to try again ......

Re: Carrying on..

Oh it was pretty bad Eileen I had to scruff her into a corner and she'd run from me afterwards. By the end of the week I had to enlist help from K to hold her still. Think we'll always request pills in the future. Baffles me why they make such things bubble gum flavor..what about mouse or chicken??

Re: Carrying on..

LOL about the mouse flavor; it may be an urban legend, but supposedly one manufacturer did test a mouse flavored food. To no avail ......... the cats hated it!!

Re: Carrying on..

Well, Mau finished up her last round of fluids today. Only bad thing is~he wants to wait until TOMORROW to check her creatinine to give another day to let the fluids do their work. I understand his reasoning but I wish that Mau didn't have to take any more car rides. She doesn't look too bothered though so I guess it's okay..was just looking forward to being done.

Re: Carrying on..

Am glad she's finished with the fluids right now, and hope that tomorrow shows that she's back to full health, or near enough.
