I was lucky, the house I am in there were loads of daffodils everywhere when I got here, I havent had to plant a thing! All different sizes and types, It looks lovely when they are all out!

Over the past few years I have planted tulips, snowdrops and bluebells sometimes they come up other times they don't do so well.

I adore daffodils. I have them in the grass, under trees, in tubs. All sorts too, basic yellow ones big old double ones, teeny little white, fragrant ones and spindly two-tone yellow ones.

Cyclamen are great for this time of year (I think they come from bulbs but I have always put in the flowering plants themselves). They come up year after year, last through the harshest weather and give a real splash of colour in the depths of winter.
