Re: Breakfast?

That is a really funny pic! Glad Bubble didn't get near it; squirrels have a very nasty bite! She has beautiful markings!

Re: Breakfast?

Funny you say that DM, my friend had her finger bitten really badly by one last weekend in the park!

This scenario today ended up even funnier as the squirrel ended up cornered by Bubs on one side, Des on another and an invader (neighbours cat) on another. Eventually the invader ran at the squirrel, Des ran at the invader, the squirrel got away and Bubs just looked on bemused!

Re: Breakfast?

That's almost even funnier...sort of like the Three Stooges! Wish I'd seen it! As far as bites, I've always said that any animal that can crack a black walnut shell with it's teeth is an animal I don;t want anywhere near my cats! (I'm notorious on here for hating squirrels...the Eastern Grey ones...they dig up bulbs, eat tomatoes and other things in the garden and are just an awful psst!) End of Rant! And thanks for the laugh today!

Re: Breakfast?

You're welcome DM! Have to say it was pretty funny. Des is normally the great hunter (he's the one who brought home a neighbours pet rabbit ), so it was a bit surprising that he went for the invader and not the squirrel. Maybe not as dumb as he looks??!!

Re: Breakfast?

Well, as the realtors say, location, location, location! So to Des, it's (my) territory, territory, territory! Get that invader! Just glad no one got bitten, and hope the squirrel decides this isn't a very nice neighborhood! (Probably no such luck...)
