Baby bird photos

I found some baby blue tits the other day, there were 3 of them around the garden, not flying but fluttering about, they were so cute. I decided to keep my cats in that evening / night as these youngsters were just getting to grips with the world..... Needless to say the following morning I had to let them out & within 5 mins there was one on my doorstep. .........

Re: Baby bird photos

I wouldn't mind, but Smudge hates being inside & was desperate to go out, she could catch a pigeon a mile away, she enjoys stalking birds & I know it's nature, but what fun is it to kill a tiny baby? I wasn't her friend when I saw what she'd done.

Re: Baby bird photos

Those photos are lovely, I think blue tits are my favourites. Shame about the baby. Last week Rosie caught 2 blue tits within as many days, the first time they had caught anything (well at least that I had seen) for absolutely ages. I was really upset and angry and couldn't even bring myself to give Rosie a cuddle. It really is the one thing I hate about cats.
