Christmas pics that didn't make it into the competition thread!

Here are some pics from last weekend and this weekend. Unfortunately, Miw wasn't very agreeable about having her pic taken, so only a few of her under the tree.

I missed the absolute BEST pic of Mousie. Curiosity got the best of her about 5 minutes after taking the mantelpiece pics, AFTER I TURNED THE CAMERA OFF! She reached out from the mantelpiece towards the tree.......and Mousie, being as ungraceful and uncoordinated as she is......promptly fell INTO the tree! Would have been a pretty funny pic with her clinging to a branch and baubles flying everywhere!

Helping choose decorations;

"I'll have a little scratch at the mantelpiece while I'm here"....;

Showing some interest......shortly before things went horribly wrong for her LOL!;

And the beautiful Miw, where she best likes to be.....UNDER the tree;

Shame you missed the best Mousie picture, Tina - isn't it always the way? Still, the ones you got are lovely - it's good to see your girls taking interest in the festivities.

Looks like you had a good photo session. I'm always missing the perfect photo moment.
I like the photo of beautiful Miw under the tree. Scary eyes, imaging seeing that under your tree on Christmas day.

Thanks Matt! The photo I entered on the competition thread was the best one I got......not a close up or action shot or anything, but nice soft lighting!

It was one of those "had to see it" moments! OH and I were in tears we were laughing so hard. Of course poor Mousie went off to sulk for hours afterwards......I think she was terribly embarassed......and our laughing likely didn't help LOL!

Cat etiquette is that one should always ignore a terrible gaffe,and never, never laugh at one!
Poor Mousie! (I would have been in stitches, frankly!)

It was quite impossible NOT to laugh! Luckily, Mousie is very forgiving and didn't hold a grudge TOO long. We daren't laugh when Miw does something like that, she really takes offense and yells at us and gives us "looks that could kill" LOL!

Off to the vet with Mousie in the morning for her blood checks. Her meds were reduced (third attempt!) 3 weeks ago so she needs her blood checked. We're hoping this is "third time lucky", she relapsed with both previous attempts........she's looking "pale" again though, so fingers crossed!
