What do you say at Christmas?

Over here there are a bunch of whipsticks who are seriously attempting to have Christmas outlawed. They "claim" any reference to Christ or God is "offensive" to them and their "friends". Amazingly enough they are getting support from some slack-witted, limp- wristed "politically correct" types, especially in the "Liberal" states.

Anyways, I just wondered what form of greeting y'all use at this time of year? I use the Merry Christmas because I like the sentiment intended.

Are you sure the main protagonists aren't the right wing media who magnify every (admittedly stupid but incredibly rare) 'liberal' or leftie PC-gone mad idea? JMO
It's Christmas here, that's what we say, that's what's in our cards - doesn't matter what creed or none.
(But considering what it's supposed to be about it's not worth getting hot under the collar about it)

Re: What do you say at Christmas?

Nahhh, whatever the religious holiday, whatever the Faith, i respect it and do my best to be inclusive. As Dave Allen said, "may your faith go with you", if the religious days mean something to them then great, be happy for them, now.......

"WHERE'S ME GUINNESS??????"

Like that one I do!!!

DM, sorry but no..... the city of Boston has even "re-titled" their Christmas Tree as a holiday tree. Interestingly enough said tree is a 40-50 foot Fir donated every year gratis by the folks up home in Canada.... a tradition going back to the early 1900's.... in a Christian Fellowship.

Anyhow, my best buddy when I was a kid was Jewish and his family never objected when I gave him a box of mom's Merry Christmas cookies. I think people were much saner back then.
