awww the poor little darlings. It must be such a hard decision for anyone to have to make to terminate the kittens. But in the long run it sometimes is the best thing to do for the cats own welfares

A little bit of good news on these poor things, Dawn seems to think that at least one of them may have two good eyes and the one that looked the worst is looking much better also but will need the vet to confirm this.

Spoke with Dawn last night, very sadly I have to tell you that 4 of these poor unfortunate kitten have since died leaving two still with an uncertain future. The two remaining are 8 weeks old now and still very lively and eating well. Will just have to wait and see.
The mum is to be spayed tomorrow.

It is very sad news and it has taken its toll on Dawn emotionally but maybe, just maybe, it was a small blessing too as it would have been difficult to find homes for 6 blind kitties.
