advice for a friend

a good friend of mine is sadly in very poor health and is concerned about the care of her three cats when she is gone.
I am trying to find out if there are any schemes that would guarantee to rehome the cats suitably when she is gone.
Her neighbour who is caring for the cats at the moment while she is in hospital has two dogs who i guess aren't good with cats, they have never been introduced.
I feel very upset having to look into this but want to try and help put her mind at rest.
If anyone has knowledge or experience of this i would be grateful for any info.

Shelley, I think the Blue Cross have some sort of scheme but don't know any details. You could try looking at their website.

Very sad for your friend and all animal lovers will understand her worries.

There's also the Cinnamon Trust, Shelley, they care for people who are exactly in your friend's unhappy position.
Hope there is a branch near you or within a close range. Maybe they have several all over the country.

Re: advice for a friend

thank you Nette, i have contacted the Cinnamon trust to see if they can help.
I will be visiting my friend tomorrow in hospital and will give her the info from the blue cross and hopefuly the Cinnamon trust may have got back to me.
I wish i could offer the cats a home but one in particular is very nervous and the dogs would be no doubt too much for them. Also i don't want any pets that we can't take with us to the van.
Thanks for your replies ladies, i am finding this very difficult.
