Re: Daily Thread/Saturday

I'm off into the garden too, then off to et a couple of plants and off to pick up some flowers for Emma our HR lady who is moving to another store, she was so good during my illness last year I will get her flowers from myself. (Got £140 in the collection from work at the moment) but from me today some flowers and a card.

Then planting my plants in the front. Have a good day all.

Karen

Re: Daily Thread/Saturday

Not too bad a day here, cloudy with glimpses of sun....

Have been to the Garden Centre this morning, they've almost finished doing their Christmas displays ............. it's a huge GC and must take ages to decorate three big sections in readiness to open for the last week in October. We usually take the children there every year as there are so many wonderful things for their little eyes to see.
I bought some heathers and three indoor hyacinth bulbs for my little bulb pots......also two packets of Royal Canin Light biscuits for Cassie. We also popped into their restaurant for our elevenses....... decaf coffee for OH and Mocha with whipped cream for me!

Enjoy your day whatever you're doing!

Re: Daily Thread/Saturday

Well, a lie-in this morning! Sebastian slept until 8am which meant we did too!!! That has to be the longest for absolutely ages!

Planted up some hebe and grasses in the border where we took the sandpit out, looks nice now and had a bit of a tidy round in the garden. The little black mog owned by the woman who doesn't really look after her cats too well was playing with me in the garden, I have some lovely pics of him/her - will try and upload later!

Then Katy (OH's daughter) came over and we all went to a Harvester in an old mansion house in a local park. Reason being was that Carters Steam fair was on at the park.

I took Dominik on the Marlow Donkey train ride and also on the bumper cars . . . and OH took him on the steam-powered gallopers. It was such fun!

Need to sort some filing out now, so will pop back later
