Just had a visit from a neighbour - the two farms nearest to us have no power and no phone. Also half the village has no power - he wanted us to call the power company but also thought we must have had our own generator - how weird is that! We must be on a different power line. |

How awful for them.I'm the end house on my block but not on the same generator; when they're dark I'm OK, when the side street loses power, so do I ..... |

Nothing much worse than being without power, especially when it's so cold. |

OH is out in the dark doing last rounds - must ask him when he gets in. I'd hate to have no power although at least with an open fire I can keep warm and toast marshmallows - what more could one need!! |
