Thanks, Donna, that's interesting! I'd be selling before it takes effect if I'd planned to!

There is no chain at that side either, Karen!

The house I'm buying is empty and recently refurbished and the buyers of mine are buy-to-let investors - so just the three of us in the chain!!

Everything crossed here that it all proceeds smoothly.

At least I can keep an eye on things as I'll be doing my own conveyancing!!!! (I'm a property lawyer).
