Pippa

Inspired by all of the bag photos, I came across this and thought I would share Pippa's story with you all . Some of you have probably heard the story of Isobel, our practice cat. Pippa was also a practice cat until August last year, when she was rehomed by one of our nurses.

Pippa was brought into the clinic in 2005 by her owners. Pippa had damaged the collateral ligament in her leg and required surgery. It was requested that Pippa be put to sleep.

Once again we contacted our close friends at the rescue centre, and they came through for us again, never once hesitating in agreeing to pay for Pippa's operation. Pippa was signed over to the clinic, and underwent orthopaedic surgery to fix her leg.

x-ray of Pippa's leg post surgery:

Pippa came on in leaps and bounds, and she now lives happily with one of our nurses, and enjoys life to the full
