Friday's Thread

Wet and overcast here today, but not especially cold.

Probably won't be on here much today as have both ankle biters at home with me - and I KNOW Thomas the Tank Engine cakes are on the agenda for today And whereas I'm quite a good cook usually, cakes - even packet ones, leave me completely mystified

Have a lovely Friday one and all!

Re: Friday's Thread

I've got both mine home today aswell as it's a techer training day

I know what you mean about the packet mixes, I hate doing them but the kids love it.

One of Thomas' friends is coming over this afternoon so that should be fun

Re: Friday's Thread

Well, the boys are hopefully settled in at the vet now and I survived 4 pairs of eyes staring at me saying "what have we done; why can't we have breakfast?" (I didn't feed any of the animals - or myself - for fear of jealousy/stealing). So, I've had my weetabix and Dinah and Mini have had their breakfasts and all is quiet now. Have to ring at 2 and hopefully get the go-ahead to pick them up. It may be later - the receptionist was saying they already have two emergencies scheduled ......
It's a dampish day, so I'm not missing allotment time staying in the house in case they need to contact.
Pleased to report the finger/hand is better - bit of tendonitis from over-enthusiastic weed clearing I think.

have a good day, best wishes from a verrrry quiet house!
