Leia's Poem

Thanks, RCR, that's my girl!!

There's a beautiful laid back girl
Her name is Leia, and she's the best indoor mouser
She has been known to catch a rat
Which proves what a brave girl she is!

She loves sleeping, she can be found
In her mum's bed, or on the radiator
The sunshine she loves as well,
Because it's lovely and warm, waiting for her to sleep in.

She can be a picky eater,
Loves having her food little and often though.
Leia doesn't talk much, but
She purrs quietly when you get it right!

She doesn't like exercise, not keen on outdoors.
But she is well loved and cared for
That's the most important thing
It's the way it should always be!

Re: Leia's Poem

I could see HRH laying out there in the sunshine on your porch, listening to her poem!

Re: Leia's Poem

"Sunshine"? What sunshine?! It's rained for two days steadily and is going to do so for the next two also! Awful weather; but Leia did listen when I read her poem to her.

Keep that thought, that's nice! But the porch is on the North side of the house, only gets late afternoon sun.

Re: Leia's Poem

It must have been late afternoon in my mind's eye then .... yes, the shadows were lengthening and there was the possibility of a G&T there too

Re: Leia's Poem

Got it!! A pleasant interlude in the late afternoon on the glider with a drink and Leia birdwatching. The feeder is on the tree to the left. and there's a table there where I occasionally have dinner outside on a lovely day, and it makes a comfy perch for Leia. Oh, how I miss Summer!
