Re: Daily/Wednesday

Angie - I've considered trying the harness, and I think Darcy would love it as he adores exploring and is so friendly. But I'm hesitant to as I get the feeling that once he experiences the great outdoors, he'll meow and scratch to go out all the time. He meows and scratches at the front door now as it is, in attempt to 'see what's in this one door I haven't been through yet!' and he hates any door being shut on him. I'm thinking it's best to keep him in blissful ignorance

Also, the locals around here might not be too receptive to a lady walking a cat. Neds can be violent and aggresive, I wouldn't want anything thrown at us whilst walking him

Re: Daily/Wednesday

Hi, all! Mix of sun and clouds but the mild weather continues, up to 22 now before lunch. One more nice day then a cold front comes and we all freeze! Market as usual and gin at the liquor store; nothing special on the agenda for the afternoon.

Yola: still chuckling about OH's head story...
Donna: rest! Lots of it!
Meep: suspect you're right about harness training; you can train an adult (I did with Patches), but with those yobs about...
Stitch: May I come for custard also? Love it!

Does anyone make bread pudding? I haven't in ages, and my mouth is watering thinking about it.....

Hope to see you at the quiz tonight!

Re: Daily/Wednesday

Oh Eileen ! Bread pudding!! My mum used to make the best bread pudding!

I also remember going up to London with my mother in the '60s and eating wonderful bread pudding in a little cafe in Fleet Street (used to be where all the journalists went back in the days before computers!!!!)

You've just triggered a trip down memory lane and I'm now going to see if I can find my mum's recipe as I have her old recipe book!

I had to say something to try and gee her up a bit Erin! There you see, you've disillusioned me now! Thought you might be a great go-getter!
