Daily Thread / Saturday

Morning all, lovely sunny day here! Got a few errands to run today including taking Em to a school friend's leaving party, it's a surprise party for the girl as she is leaving to go to another school. The party is being held at a nail and beauty salon, so sure the girls will have lots of fun.

Alex - have a lovely holiday

Hope everyone is enjoying sunshine this morning and that you all have a lovely weekend

Re: Daily Thread / Saturday

Morning Fran, the party sounds good. I hope it's just the party that's a surprise & not the fact that she's moving schools.

No sign of the kittens still.

Lucys friend stayed last night. They were all good, and the 3 of them slept in the one room.

Today I'm going to give the cat pens a scrub & visit a possibly pregnant cat to see if she is or not. We have lots of pregnant ones waiting to come in, I offered to go & try to trap 1 or 2 of them, but they are all from a factory & there's noone there at the weekend. Not sure how we will get them though because we all work during the week. I have got a few days off soon, so maybe I'll go then.

Got to go shopping. hate shopping, but John goes most weeks - so thought I'd go this week as I was late home from work & he was waiting to go last night. He didn't go as it was too late once I got home & he's gone fishing today.

John did all the housework yesterday - so just the washing to do today.

Morning Fran and Smudgley.

Sun beaming through the windows this morning. So nice after a week of yuck weather.
I dinn't go out last night. Wait for it......my dresses and skirts were all to tight I suppose if I really had been eager to go i would have found something. Ceilidh and Derek went along for a wee while. I took off my make up and chilled with a glass of wine infront of the TV.
Nothing planned for today although grocieries being deliverd between 3 and 5. Got all day to be here
Smudgley, hope your kittens arrive safely
Fran I just know Em and her palls will have a great time

Afternoon all, it has been beautiful here..... we've just returned from spending a few hours in Weston. Nice and sunny there but a very cold wind. The donkeys were very busy on the sands much to the delight of the children!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Re: Daily Thread / Saturday

That sounds nice Mags. I'm getting a house full tonight. Donna and her partner Jason (my step daughter) and Sean and Jenny. Sean's away tomorrow so it will be nice to see him before he's off. Also Darryle stays here on a Sat night. Easier getting a bus to work as Sean and Jenny stay in the country side.
A family night, just what the Doc ordered
