Rosie and Pheobe - my kittens-to-be

I took a couple of pics of Rosie and Pheobe when I went to visit them today. They have grown so much over the last couple of weeks. The quality isn't very good as they were taken on my phone.

Firstly the pic from the RSPCA website, I am not sure what age they were in this one - guessing 2 or 3 weeks maybe?

Left is Rosie, middle is Pheobe, and on the right is their Mum, Leah.

Todays pics, aged about 7 weeks I think

Pheobe learning about toy mice

Rosie watching intently

What sweet little kitts.. Mum looks very wary in the first pic though..

They look very timid at the moment but when you get them home you can lavish them with love and they'll soon come out of their shells...

Tinker, they are darlings! And I love the names; how much longer before they can come home?

Re: Rosie and Pheobe - my kittens-to-be

Mum was a stray when she arrived at RSPCA, so wouldn't have been used to people at the time. However she is now really friendly and was purring her head off when I gave her a cuddle and lots of fuss today.
The kittens are timid, but they have been brought up in kennels so far rather than a home, so although they do get handled I am sure it isn't as much as they would be in a home. I am not worried though as timid cats seem to like me, all they will need is patience. We got Tinker as a barely handled 9 year old, she hid on a shelf for 3 weeks when we got her home. She now demands cuddles at all times.

I am not sure when they will come home yet, the lady at the kennels wants to check their ages first and arrange their first jabs, don't think it will be more than a couple of weeks though

Not yet - I wish we could have her too, but 4 cats would be too many and the reason for getting kittens rather than older cats is that we don't want anything that will saunter straight in and challenge Tinkers status as top cat. They don't think they will have any problem rehoming her though as she is so friendly now, such a different cat to the first picture.
