Hi Ferdy, a warm welcome to Catsey!

I've found that Frontline no longer eliminates fleas on my cat so my vet prescribed her Advocate Spot-On, since then we've had no problem at all.

It is very important to treat your house thoroughly too or your cat could get re-infested.
Acclaim is very good for house treatment.

Looking forward to hearing more about your cat, what is her name?

Re: The Walker

Hi, and a warm and fluffy welcome.

As Mags has pointed out it's important to de-flea the house as well as the cat cos carpets and crevices are the fleas main living and egg laying quarters. Vacuum and treat regularly, especially if you have rugs or carpets.

I also have found Frontline to be ineffective any more, I don't like using chemicals on my cat but have recently been forced to use Stronghold and it has so far not caused any adverse reactions on even my eldest cat, not a flea or mite in sight.
