Latest Trainer trend anyone?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7815898.stm

I saw these on the local news last night. They're OK, aren't they? Bit difficult thinking of the chewing gum and worse that's been prised off them

I love the idea that they're made of recycled material, but 70 pounds is a bit steep! And they are sort of ugly .....
