Re: Mattress...Questions

Kazz I recently purchased a mattress from Makro - it was one that came rolled up so it was easy to transport in a car (mattress was a kingsize as well)

It does appear to be a soft(ish) mattress but I have had fantastic sleep on it.

Re: Mattress...Questions

Yes, we did! Spent more money on it than we'd planned and hope it lasts us out - a Harrison base and mattress. Only trouble is that although it's a "no turn" mattress, you do have to turn it around (rather than over) for the first 12 weeks to allow the wool filling to settle evenly. We are still in our 12 week settling period and it's a beast to turn - luckily there are two of us. Would never manage with one person. It is lovely and comfy though. A "medium" support.

Re: Mattress...Questions

A local shop, not a chain. Bosham Beds I think it's called.

I still think nothing can compare with a memory foam topper, Kazz, And the pillow as well.

Re: Mattress...Questions

Have to say that I tried a memory foam mattress in the shop and I didn't like it! I felt like I was being enfolded in a marshmallow!
