Leia and valerian

As I suspected, she's a non-reactor to valerian also. She checked out her new ball, played very briefly with it without getting silly a bit, then went back to her nap.
The dried leaves do smell awful!!

Re: Leia and valerian

Those photos are so funny - Leia was not one whit impressed! Made a nice cushion tho. Koko doesn't react to catnip (not tried valerian) but Rajah seems to get a bit too wild! He had to get put into a cooldown zone (locked in the boxroom, where he yanked everything off the shelves) So no more cat mint for him!

Funny pair tho, either they are tumbling over each other spitting and hissing or they are curled up looking sweet in the basket.

Oh Leia, bless your heart sweety You and Eva really have been cut from the same cloth
Lovely pics Eileen.
Bernie just adores valarian as well as catnip, but it does smell like sweaty socks

They are really sisters, aren't they? Give Eva a chin tickle, and dear Bernie too.Yes, it definitely stinks!

Re: Leia and valerian

Leia enjoyed playing with her valerian ball though, even if she wasn't "out of it"! Great pictures Eileen. Shame about the smell - I've yet to try Kizzy with catnip.

It makes me wonder whether there are any stats about cats susceptible to catnip and/or valerian. Has anyone come across any?

I did a Google search, and this was all I could find:

Only about 50% to 70% of all cats will be affected by this herb
