Thanks Folks...ralph is growing..and growing! Hes excellent off the lead, i would say VERY reliable with long distance commands, fully housetrained (only really had accidents the first couple of days we had him), is an utter goon with all the other animals and is 100 % loveable-so not too bad for 5 months old!
Now the fun starts...he was "playing retrieve" with his first furry dummy that someone gave us yesterday........

Adorable Luke. Do springers have as much energy as I've heard they do? I ask because we are going to foster a 9 year old springer cross from the Oldies Club. Never had a springer, so any info on them would be great! pm me if you prefer. Thanks.

Well...he being my first springer i can only speak for him, he is allways on the go...*he is a pup though* and hardly sleeps!! He has to be constantlly doing something..kept active..on the balll, otherwise hell breaks loose!
As people say, Springers are scatty, clowns and all over the place-so much so infact!! I wouldn't say they are a "nasty" breed....they are very loving, and i have found great companions-love to be with you lots!
But they do have bags of energy and they allways have surplus to spare even after they have been racing around at full pelt!
Good luck with the foster-any idea's the cross?

Oh-eck Luke, what have we let ourselves in for!

No idea on the cross at the moment. Apparently the owner had 13 cats & dogs and now they are the responsibility of Social Services as she has been taken into care.

edited to add: Thanks for the info!!
