Yes DM give the tomato sauce ones a go my two hated the ones in oil.

Re: Sardines

Winston used to love his sardines too. Another thing which used to help with his constipation was sometimes a little melted butter. My all time fav, when things began to get difficult for him to move his bowls was slippery elm bark syrup, 1ml twice a day.
Eva and Bernie get sardines as a treat too but not as often as Winston got them

Re: Sardines

Elaine, I'd forgotten about butter...Patches was a good cat but she WOULD sneak up on the table and steal butter! Maybe I will try the ones in tomato sauce but just for Leia...I prefer the olive oil ones.

Re: Sardines

OK, now I feel guilty for not giving mine sardines!

Don't give them many treats either! I'm obviously a very bad person!

Re: Sardines

I regularly give mine sardines in tom sauce and Caleb too, like Fran as part of his BARF diet. They all love them! Bargain price Kazz - shame our nearest Asda is 14 miles away! You are full of great information!

Re: Sardines

That's a real bargain ... and all the animals seem to love the tomato sauce - it must be a nice change for them.
