Fluffy.

We got Fluffy's thyroid result back at the begining of this week. They were taken to see how they were after her thyroidectomy. Sadly they are still high, 172, however I think that she is much calmer and more settled within herself. We have started her on 5mgs felimazole once a day and retest in 2 weeks. I think she will respond more this time because I can see a big difference in her already.

Re: Fluffy.

How long would it take for the thyroxin (?) to reduce generally in a cat's system farthing?

Re: Fluffy.

Glad to hear she's calmer now; hope the new meds will work well.

Re: Fluffy.

Like Angie i'm wondering if it takes time for the thyroid level to go down. Glad she's feeling better.
