Hot Cat?

Harley seems to be a very hot blooded cat. Both OH and I have noticed that if he sits on or near you, he's actually like a little heater - all over.

His ears don't seem over hot and I've not tried taking his temperature. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Re: Hot Cat?

Not me, Angie. I know their normal temp is a degree or so higher than ours ... that's why it feel so good when they turn into lap cats on those Autumn evenings when it's chilly but not enough to turn the heat on. If he seems well, eating and toileting normally I probably wouldn't worry. And I cannot contemplate trying to take a cat's temperature
