Re: Cat Names

we name our cats mainly on there personallity then call them by a nick name so they end up with 2 names.
we have a Wazzy as she sounds like a buzzing wasp
Bugs had one eye as a kitten and she looked like a little bug
but the best is Bluggs which stands for ******luggs. He was a monster as a kitten and would go totally deaf when you shouted at him

Re: Cat Names

I chose names that I like - Sylvester (Sylv), Matilda (tilly), Lucky was called lucky 'cos she is black (not very original I know ) and when I got Maud I really wanted another boy and was going to call him Claude but I fell in love with her and Claude became Maud

Re: Cat Names

I'm sure I've answered this on here before (?)

Mitten ~ my friend at work kept asking me when we were getting our new mitten, instead of kitten. It just seemed right to call her Mitten.

Emily ~ kids chose that

Smudge ~ her coat colour is all smudged!

Suicide - cos she had death wish. She was forever climbing the chimney and she must be the only cat I know who couldn't land on her feet

Re: Cat Names

Queenie, because it seemed to suit her
Tippy because she is black all over apart from a white tip on the end of her tail and 1 white hair on her bib, mind you considering her personality demon queen would be more suitable. If there is any trouble she is at the centre of it
Socks because he has white back paws
