Yeah I was going to suggest warm salt water - your doing the best you can, don't doubt yourself! They sound like right little characters, maybe buy a cat behaviour book? Glad you joined cat pages - at least you can off-load to us if your feeling a bit down about things - we will always be here to listen. And if you happen to have a digital camera we LOVE to see pictures of your little one? Abbi |

Hi guys I will try the salt water. (TCP assaults my nose tooo much !) I noticed that her scab had been knocked off again last night. I will try and take a couple of pics opn my camera phone, email them to myself, and put them on What do you think about introducing another cat?  |

To be honest I think another cat would just add to your troubles, you need to get harmony between these two before another one comes along! What do we call you - or would you rather be known as Hippo? Abbi :O) |

lol yeah get a 'bloke cat' in there to sort them out! Only joking! I know it may sound daft but try bathing them (seperately) with the same shampoo, it may be that the 'vet's smell' is still on her and the other one doesn't like it? (smells are so important for cats). Also yeah cooled down boiled water with a little salt is probably best for wounds  |

As Azz said it could also be the smell.If you cant bath your cats then use baby talc on both cats, rub all over.It wont do them any harm.We use it all the time on Persians as it helps to stop knotting.They will both smell the same and this just may do the trick |

Hi all You can call me Nardine, my screen name comes from a group that I spent a fortnight with in Africa on a hippo sanctuary!! I have had them for a good few months now so I don't thing the smell thing is a factor, I think I will just have to get used to them having their spats. Have been out and bought cotton balls today to start bathing Paige's sore.  |

It's weird as sometimes they seem to be happy together? Sounds amazing that you went to a Hippo Sanctuary!! I went to Kenya a few years ago and went on Safari it was mind blowing! |

bloomin hot though!! I nearly passed out and got really de-hydrated, still it was the opportunity of a life-time. The girls are in "hate each other mode" tonight" I think they know they're doing wrong when I raise my voice at them and shout OI! |
