We had a really nice time. The weather was incredibly kind to us - we were able to walk along the towpath beside the canal without our fleeces at lunchtime on Saturday. Not much photo-opportunity, as we were involved with our friends rather than sight-seeing etc. (He had a stroke last spring, aged55, and was pretty lucky to survive. He is certainly lucky to be pretty much restored; he doesn't work any more, but pursues his hobbies and enjoys life, other than on 'not-so-good' days) Here's just one of OH & Dinah taken at 8am on Saturday. Great poplar tree, isn't it?  |
