Hubby want to get a pup.

My husband has wanted to get a Cavalier King charles Spaniel for quite a long time now. I think they are lovely dogs - but I don't think we should have another dog (we only have 1 F/C Retriever) but for most of our married life we have had several dogs (never a CKCS) We are now down to one dog & I think it's quite nice.
He wants to get one so that the kids can have fun with a smaller dog, but I'm really not sure.
I know they have lots of health problems & that in itself is a concern to me.
Also do I really want to be lugging a pup around with me (she'd have to come to work with me most days)

Any thoughts?

If I were you I would stick to your guns and say NO. Your kids will only be playing with the dog for a short while - then they'll be off out and you will ave the dog for 13-14 years; wait till you are certain. If I were you thats what I would do.

It's a big decision.
I'd say that if one of you says no then the answer should be no.
Good luck with whatever you decide.
