I love Christmas too Kazz & we tend to rush around at the last min for stuff, so this year we have decided to get organised. Me & hubby went Christmas shopping last Friday. & Whilst he was fishing today - me & the kids got all the Christmas stuff down from the loft. We won't put it all up just yet, but we do have quite a few lights around the house, so we got everything down & stored it all neatly in the conservatory.  |

I don;t mind decorating the outside of the house - in fact I think their would be a riot in the Croft if I didn't decorate before the children broke up for Christmas holidays (they love the decorations) and all I hear in Dec is "Karen when are you putting the lights up?" from every child I meet. But the house I won't put the tree up till the week before Christmas (if I can stop everyone else putting it up) thats enough for me. Makes it feel like Christmas then what with the tree going up, shopping etc etc. Karen |

When my hubby was a child - his mom & dad used to put the tree up & all the decs when the kids had gone to bed on Christmas eve  I like my tree up nice & early so begining of Dec - my tree & lights will go up & we are hoping to do all our Christmas shopping early enough so that we can just relax & enjoy the break over Chrismas. We got a few things last Fri & we know what we need to get for most people - so we're half way there.  |

Hopefully I will be more organised this year = already placed my order at the local butchers for the xmas turkey!! Last year Misty and Chloe were only weeks old so the Xmas tree was an adventure playground!! They started off just trying to grab the baubles but progressed rapidly to climing to the top of the tree!! Used to just see a pair of eyes staring at you from the top!! Had to tie the tree to the radiator to stop it toppling over!! God knows what they will do this year to it!! |
