Mags.....................Agapanthas

Mags, I bought an Agapanthas today after seeing yours!!

In fact, I bought quite a lots of stuff at the garden centre and spent £130 I've got a whole garden that needs filling at this new house.

I dragged my dad along as I don't really have a clue about flowers and wanted things that will come back next year........herbaceous and perennials, I'm told!!! lol

I'll post some pics.

When do you go on hols Mags??

Wow! You did well at the Garden Centre, Charlie!
I'm pleased you managed to get an agapanthus.......which colour did you get? If you google agapanthus, you will get lots of tips on growing it and more importantly caring for it through the winter.

We should have a pic of your garden before you start your planting too!

I go away this Saturday for 2 weeks!

It's a blue/lilac colour

You should have seen the garden before I started on it it was all thistles!!! I took some before photos. I've now weeded and dug up the thistles and have taken some "during" photos.

I'll upload them and show you before your holiday.

Where are you off to btw??

Oooh, the blue one, that's lovely! I had one, but it was supposed to overwinter outside in my climate, but didn't.... ...I'll know better this time! Love to see your before and after pics!

We're going to Devon, Charlie....... we didn't risk booking for somewhere abroad this year as hubby had a hospital appointment last April and we weren't sure if he would have to have a replacement knee or not. As it turned out he can only have the op if his knee is giving him continual intense pain..
We hope to make up for it next yeat though..
