Olivers time is up

The wee one is going under the knife tomorrow. Getting neutered. The vet said nothing to eat after 6pm tonight and no water after 9pm. We take him in at 8.30 tomorrow morning. The poor wee soul hasnt had anything to eat all day today, I couldnt get him to eat a thing. He had some fish around 9.30 this morning. He will be starving by tomorrow. I hope the vet will try him with something after hes been done. I am keeping him in tonight just in case he has found somewhere where theres some food on the go. Hes livid jumping up at the door and scratching and mewing to get out. Dont think I will get much sleep tonight!

Re: Olivers time is up

Thanks folks. Im hoping hes being done as I speak. I will phone after 2 to see how he is and when we can get him back (they said it should be around 4 oclock). I am working till 10pm, so hubby has been instructed to have some fish ready for him and to make a fuss of him when he gets home!

The poor wee soul is wondering whats wrong with him. He runs around for all of 5 minutes, then collapses in a heap and falls asleep! Am sure he will get better as the day goes on. Right now hes staring through the flap watching the birds. He doesnt have the energy to chase them just now!
