Re: Helga this time.

That's such good news - I was hoping for a 'common or garden' infection and let's hope the biopsy confirms that!

Re: Helga this time.

Poor Helga is very drowsy from her op, and they cleaned her ears too so she looks very bedraggled. We were pretty chuffed though when we went to pick her up because she was delighted to see us, she's only been here since May so I'm guessing she is happy with us. I was imagining the worst, I admit but her mouth looked awful and it seemed to come on so quickly, so I panicked- again.

Re: Helga this time.

Helga has not recovered well from her op, she was still very wobbly today. I took her back to the vet and he thinks she has had either a stroke or an ears infection. I am hoping itis her ears because she got them cleaned out while under ( she gets very dirty ears). I have to take her back tomorrow to be assessed and then we will decide on treatment over the holidays.

Re: Helga this time.

Oh dear; hope the wobbliness is just a disturbance of balance due to the ear infection, She's young for a stroke at 10, isn't she? Fingers crossed you'll get good news tomorrow. Poor Helga!
