Re: Neutering

In "My Cats" thread it is mentioned that Gizmo is the father, in another thread it was said that TigerLily was kept seperate from the others in the lounge with her nuetered boy, so I can only assume as the question was never answered, that the others or atleast Gizmo is still entire.

Re: Neutering

Velvet tears - is Gizmo neutered? If so when did he get neutered? If not GET HIM DONE! I don't know much about cats having kittens but it is really important you make sure all your cats are neutered/spayed!

Elaine - I'm even more confused now but there again you're merely repeating what Velvet tears said

Re: Neutering

If they are kept separate in the longue does that mean that they are crated or the other cats are crated? I thought she meant they were kept in another room?

Re: Neutering

Tiger is kept in another room atm because of kittens and i will not allow the others into the lounge until tiger has been speyed in january. Bobo & Smokey are neutered. After Tiger has been done I will arrange to get the other boys done.

Re: Neutering

I'm really glad to hear of your plans but you could get all the boys done right now, there's no need to wait until after Tiger has been spayed. Do you have any other girls still to be done?

Re: Neutering

It would make MUCH more sense to have the boys done now as Tiger will come back in to season fairly soon.

Yes but she will come into season again very soon and will try like hell to be mated again if there are entire toms in the vacinity. Would be alot kinder for her not have that kind of pressure put on her while she has kittens. It would be the RESPONSIBLE thing to do right now, unless ofcourse you want another litter so soon and if so that would be CRUEL.
