Tilly under the weather

Poor Little Tilly seems to be a bit under the weather tonight . She was sick this evening which I think was a hair ball . But when I was cleaning her litter tray I saw she had diarrhoea as well . She is aslo not at all interested in her dinner. She ate breakfast OK this morning but she seem sot be a bit off sort tonight. She is very quiet and just sitting on her bed. I have picked up her dinner so she can be starved tonight in the hope that helps. If not I will have to try her on some chicken or take her to the vets as she is on a special bland diet for her tummy as it is very sensitive .
I can't think what has set her off tonight as I am very careful and she only get her special food which is usually fine for her .

Anyway I won't panic with her yet. It might be the heat not her food. She might sort her self out if just left alone for the night. I woorry aside from her having Inflamatory Bowel Disease it make me more care ul and worry more as it is harder totreat her with medication as she can't have anything that will irritate her tummy .

I'll keep you all posted as to how she is going and keep my finger crossed that she wil be OK tomorrow.

Sally

Re: Tilly under the weather

So sorry to hear Tilly is out of sorts Sally. You are doing the right thing by starving her overnight, it will give her tummy time to settle.

If she is no better tomorrow, perhaps a visit to the vet to get her checked over.......
We do worry so much when our much loved furry friends are off colour, don't we? ((((hugs))))

How's Tilly today? I really hope she's better. As Mags said our pets really are a worry at times.
