Re: Grand National?

I'm the same Yola!! No idea about betting. The only time I was in a betting shop was last year when my inlaws were down vsisting. My FIL places a wee bet nearly every day, so when he was here we decided to play a joke on him. (my MIL put us up to it). I took Raechel my eldest into the betting shop, and she cries out in rather a loud voice, 'Granda! Please don't spend all of our pocket money!!! ' The place erupted in laughter and my FIL was out 2 mins later, we were standing outside p'ing ourselves with laughter. He wasn't amused!! LOL!

Re: Grand National?

The best bit was, Raechel was so serious when she said it. Didn't laugh 'til we were outside the shop. My sides were killing me from laughing so much. I think my daughter will end up on the stage!

Re: Grand National?

I don't bet on the Grand National as I think too many horses have been injured or died in the past. Good luck to those you had a bet though.

Re: Grand National?

I don't bet on the National as I don't really agree with it tbh but hope that any of you who did have a flutter were successful
