Arm ache and still not finished

Well I've gone through 6 sheets of sandpaper, got arm ache and I've still not finished my dining chairs, not even finished one yet!!!!

They'll look great once done and I know all this hard work will be worth it.

My chairs at the moment are drak brown with beige marble effect velvet but once completed will be varnished in Antique Pine with a very pale yellow and terracotta fabric on the seat covers. The seat covers will be done in the same material as my kitchen blinds when I get round to making them, my MIL is going to help me with them.

Will get a piccie of the fabric later, batteries are low on my camera.

Sounds lovely I hate sanding ever since Idecided to sad down an old staircase well the bannister and soilders. The worst thing I ever decided to do and when I sold the house I went back about 4 months later and they had painted it all in white gloss again I'd never do it again.

Wouldn't you be better with an electric sander for the table Nae? Sure you can hire them...

I've got an electric sander Moli....well I've got one somewhere. Hubby used it to sand down the skirting boards in Louise' room and he can't remember what he did with it
