Re: Stuff the turkey!

I never stuff the Turkey Mags, I worry that it might not be cooked properly. Please remember anyone that does stuff their turkey, that the cooking time allowance for your turkey needs to be increased.

I cook sage and onion stuffing in little balls on a baking tray

Re: Stuff the turkey!

My mum always stuffs it with a homemade stuffing and then puts sausages wrapped in bacon around the outside for that added flavour!

Re: Stuff the turkey!

I was referring to the main cavity of the turkey Fran

I always put a whole onion, half an orange, half a lemon and a bunch of mixed herbs in mine ...........

I cook sage and onion balls separately too......

That sounds nice Mags, may try that. I always do the stuffing separately.

I can't stand stuffing so never put anything in, however I might just give your idea a try Mags.

Re: Stuff the turkey!

It does add flavour and helps to keep the turkey moist.......

Re: Stuff the turkey!

Put stuffing with sausage meat into the turkey gorgeous I adore the "soft stugging" ie none crispy on sarnies.
