We have been there twice and love it there, it's about a 20 min bus ride from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik Old Town ...... built on the edge of the peninsula at Babin Kuk in a countryside setting. There is a bus stop practically outside the hotel which takes you to the gate of the Old City. There are also some nice country walks along the sea edge. http://www.valamar.com/luxury-hotels...FYMKfAodySepfg If you want to know anything else about it, let me know |

This year we did a flexi trip ....... our travel agent booked the flight and the hotel separately, leaving from Gatwick again. What that meant was they booked us seats on a BA flight and we were met at Dubrovnik airport by a private taxi to take us to the hotel. By doing it that we didn't have the services of a hotel rep like previously but that didn't bother us as we had been there the year before. I've just had a look at the Thomson brochure and it appears they do not cover that hotel anymore. Your best bet would be to visit a couple of Travel Agents and tell them you would like a quote for that hotel, they will check all the brochures for you........ you may have a fight going from Birmingham even. The flight from Gatwick took 31/4 to 31/2 hours. I know Easy Jet have started doing trips to Dubrovnik now. |
