thomping head

I have now had two weeks, there abouts, of waking up in the morning with a really thumping headache. I get it occasionally during the day but ALWAYS when i wake up.
I know my bp was up alittle two weeks ago ( 145/89) and they want me back on the 13th feb to cehck it again. Not sure if it that. It driving me nuts though.
paracetamol is enough to ease it a little, but i dont like taking tablets all the time.
Just bloody annoying.

there, my little whinge over for today!

" A whinge a day keeps the doctor at bay" lol

Re: thomping head

With your medical history, I think you should pop into the docs and ask the practice nurse to check your BP. Just that my dad's precursor to his strokes and TIA is always a headache..............
Don't be alarmed - just GO - get it checked. Where's the harm?
Take care

PS - could easily be your diet as you try to change and stomp out the baaaaaad things. Cutting out coffee always gives me a headache.

Re: thomping head

to be honest, i have been thinking all day so far that I am sure this happened for a few weeks BEFORE i had my stroke, but I am trying not to worry about it.
I have a bp machine at home, and though I know theyre not always as reliable as manuals, it says 144/83, so not gone up.

I hadnt thought about the diet though, been doing that over a week now, maybe it something to do with that. Havent had a coffee in weeks!
and i find myself driking plain water far more easier than i ever used to, i used to really hate plainw ater, but i rarely drink anything else now, though for some odd reason it tastes better from a bottle, so i fill up a little 500ml bottle. Easily have 3 litres a day!!!!

I'm just realising that I dont think I ahve one system within my body that works 100% lol

Re: thomping head

Maybe you are 'de-toxifying'?
Better diet, all that water flushing out the nasties?

Re: thomping head

The only other thing I can think of is maybe you're bedroom's too hot? I often wake up with a headache if it's too hot in my room . . . just a thought?
