Late daily Saturday

Afternoon everyone. Late daily today. We have been out on our morning walk then out and about as OH was working which isnt a usual occurrence at the weekend. Heading to dinner then cinema later.

Has anyone elses fur baby been affected by the full honey moon last night? Harris was hyper at 3am playing with a squeaky mouse and running about which isnt like him during the night!

Re: Late daily Saturday

Thanks Pamela, just realised what was wrong with Swirl. He was racing round like an idiot last night. He usually does this when its going to be windy.

Went to a terrier and lurcher show today and let Scout have a go at the terrier racing. I think she was chasing the other terriers rather than the lure!! The showing was supposed to start at 11.30am but at 1pm we got fed up of waiting and came home. What is it with terrier and lurcher shows that they can't get their act together and start on time. We've given up showing the lurchers because the judging is so crooked. We know a judge who has told us they have been offered £50 to place a dog 1st. £50 for a £1.50 red rosette!! Must be desperate! Just hate cheats.

Re: Late daily Saturday

Scout came last at the racing, mainly because she was chasing the other terriers not the lure!! I think she thought she'd won because the other terriers were running away from her!!

No sign of Inky, going out later for another look. Wish he would just come home. Don't know where he can be. Have to ask around again and see if anybody has seen him.

Will take Scout racing again, she seemed to like it. Doesn't matter if she doesn't get anywhere, it's a bit of fun. She makes me laugh when she's running because she puts her ears flat to her head when she's flat out. I call them her 'go faster' ears!! Normally they are just bouncing up and down when she runs. She looks like a black version of Snowy from Tin Tin.
