Scorchio Sunday

Very good morning to y'all

Sunny and warm already, lovely! Sorry I missed you yesterday had a packed day. Started off early with the All blacks v Wales, rugby game, we lost but not as bad as last week. Then caught the train to Cardiff for the Armed Forces day in the Bay, FABULOUS!!! A crowd of 50, 000 or so lined the parade route and stood for an hour in blazing heat for the drumhead service in Roald Dhal plaza, and we were there. The British Legion vets were amazing, coping with the conditions like they did bless em. Our troops were a credit too; a great fly past, lots of tanks and armoured vehicles to look at & kids to crawl over

Then off to a friends house for a bbq last night.
Good times!

Have a relaxing day, whether watching the footie or not, try not to overheat

Morning PP - Morning everybody.

Not much planned today - a bit of gardening and some sun bathing - trying to make the most of the nice weather!!

Hot sunny but bone dry weather continues, 32 C (88 F); only a 20% chance of a t'storm. We so need some rain. To the market and pottering, no real news.

PP, sounds like a lovely outing; everyone loves a parade! I will NOT be watching the games, am a Soccer Scrooge, bah humbug!

Stay cool!

I hate the football too. Too much hype - bah humbug.

We have had a fab week-end camping in North Yorkshire, got home this afternoon. Dogs loved the beach yesterday, too hot to take them today though.

Hope everyone has had a good day and not overheated too much. x

Hi, all. Overcast and some showers.
Got Cooper and Pino a new cage for a steal, they really like it, much more room for them.
Kuan Yin really likes playing with the new girl too.
Had a crazy busy day yesterday so hoping to just relax mostly today

Re: Scorchio Sunday

I have had a fairly peaceful relaxed day reading in the garden with my sun hat on! My feet have been sore - woke me up in the night, so I thought I deserved an easy day.

It's been lovely.
